Full-Stack Developer, Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within the Marketplace and Finance ecosystem.

• Design, enhance, and take responsibility for the lifecycle of high-performance, scalable distributed solutions.

• Ensure Clean Code practices, functional programming, continuous refactoring, Code Review, and Pair Programming.

• Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement and decompose complex issues.

• Advocate for the automation of unit and integration testing (TDD/BDD).

• Guarantee application security governance utilizing OAuth and JWT.

• Oversee and conduct root cause analysis of critical production incidents.

• Develop and sustain robust backend solutions with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.

• Create modern, accessible frontend interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Design Systems.

• Design and manage microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven asynchronous messaging.

• Structure and oversee managed services and serverless architectures on AWS or GCP.

• Maintain technical documentation and assist in refining technical stories with the agile team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in backend development with Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with frontend development using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and integration with Design Systems.

• Extensive experience with distributed architecture, event-driven systems, microservices, REST APIs, and messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).

• Proficient in both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.

• Experience with cloud architecture (AWS or GCP), managed services, and serverless solutions.

• Skilled in Git, code governance (Code Review), and automated testing (TDD, BDD, and unit testing).

• Practical understanding of application security (OAuth, JWT) and observability.

• Experience with functional programming and Scala is a plus.

• Background in e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, or financial services solutions is an advantage.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engineering culture is a plus.
