This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements for engineering applications.
• Develop and sustain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications utilizing C#, Angular, Spring Boot, Java, and SQL.
• Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Follow SAFe Agile principles and practices.
• Take part in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and address complex technical issues.
• Deliver timely and effective solutions.
• Conduct presentations of successful implementation of work products.
• Continuously enhance existing systems and processes to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• A university degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in full stack development using C#, Angular, Spring Boot, Java, and/or SQL.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile principles and practices.
• Practical experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience in managing tasks using Jira.
• Background in the aerospace or defense industry is preferred.
• Understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and best practices is preferred.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud platforms is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is preferred.
