Full-Stack Developer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement features utilizing Java, Spring, and Angular.

• Aid in the advancement, maintenance, and modernization of the Lyceum ERP.

• Create and utilize REST APIs.

• Assess and apply business rules.

• Address incidents and carry out corrective and evolutionary maintenance.

• Develop automated tests and support quality assurance strategies.

• Engage in technical and functional refinement discussions.

• Contribute to development estimation processes.

• Perform code reviews and promote best practices.

• Take part in incremental releases within an agile framework.

• Support efforts to minimize technical debt.

• Assist in enhancing architecture, performance, and stability.

• Utilize generative AI tools to facilitate development, documentation, and comprehension of legacy systems.

• Work for a software firm that creates solutions for both public and private sectors in Brazil.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in full-stack development with Java.

• Familiarity with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

• Experience in front-end development with Angular.

• Skilled in building and consuming REST APIs.

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

• Proficient with Git and code version control systems.

• Experience in software architecture.

• Capable of integrating systems.

• Understanding of microservices and application decoupling.

• Experience with Docker.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of automated testing and best practices in software development.

• Preferred: certifications in Java, the Spring Framework, Angular or React, Docker, DevOps, Scrum, or Kanban.

• Preferred: experience in developing products for the education sector.

• Preferred: experience with technology transformation and systems modernization initiatives.

• Preferred: understanding of AI-assisted software engineering.

• Preferred: Oracle certifications (Java platform).
