Full-Stack Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise applications utilizing Java 8+ and Spring Boot.

• Enhance and support legacy systems built with Java EE.

• Create and utilize REST APIs while managing SOAP integrations.

• Build and sustain web interfaces employing React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Collaborate with relational databases and craft efficient queries.

• Implement and uphold unit and integration testing.

• Engage in code reviews to enhance code quality and progression.

• Utilize development best practices, including Clean Code, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.

• Collaborate effectively within agile teams alongside QA, Product, UX, and fellow developers.

• Employ Git and CI/CD pipelines in development workflows.

• Operate within Docker environments.

• Maintain and enhance integrations and services utilizing Apache Camel as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven professional experience with Java 8+.

• Solid understanding of Java EE, including JSF, EJB, JPA, and/or PrimeFaces.

• Familiarity with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Knowledge of SOAP/Web Services.

• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

• Proficient in SQL and data manipulation (DML).

• Experience with React framework.

• Understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

• Proficient in using Git.

• Experience in agile environments, utilizing methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

• Obtained a higher education degree.

• Preferred: three or more years of software development experience.

• Preferred: familiarity with Apache Camel.

• Preferred: understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.

• Preferred: knowledge of API security, including OAuth2 and JWT.

• Preferred: experience with or understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

• Preferred: experience with SonarQube.

• Preferred: knowledge of Angular or Vue.js.
