Full Stack Developer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain data pipelines that facilitate data ingestion, processing, and integration.

• Create, build, and implement scalable full stack applications, with a focus on backend services.

• Design and develop APIs, services, and integrations for essential applications.

• Deploy cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or other contemporary cloud services.

• Work collaboratively with DevOps, data science, and user experience teams.

• Engage in code reviews, participate in architecture discussions, and follow CI/CD practices.

• Upgrade legacy applications by migrating them to cloud-native or containerized environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of five years of professional experience in software development or a related field.

• Strong expertise in Python programming.

• Proven experience in developing full stack applications, particularly with a focus on backend development.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud architectures, including compute, storage, serverless functions, and API management.

• Experience with application frameworks and database integration.

• Candidates must successfully pass a government background investigation and meet public trust requirements.

• US Citizenship or a US Green Card is mandatory.

• Preferred: Experience with GCP or relevant certifications.

• Preferred: Background in integrating or deploying machine learning models.

• Preferred: Experience in application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

• Preferred: Familiarity with environmental or marine science.

• Preferred: Experience with contemporary DevOps toolchains and CI/CD pipelines.
