Software Engineer – .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance backend commerce and payment platforms that facilitate LastPass subscriptions, billing, and international payment processing.

• Upgrade essential systems and enhance platform dependability.

• Implement integrations with payment service providers.

• Create scalable .NET services and RESTful APIs.

• Execute payment gateway integrations and support regional payment options.

• Participate in feature planning and execution.

• Promote non-functional requirements and advocate for cost-efficient solutions.

• Design, test, and maintain solutions within the specified domain.

• Work collaboratively with other teams, participate in decision-making processes, and shape technical direction.

• Enhance customer-facing applications by introducing new features that address user requirements.

• Collaborate with .NET developers, Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs), Quality Assurance (QA) engineers, database developers, engineering leaders, as well as teams in Product, Finance, Data, and Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in C# and .NET Core for web application development.

• Experienced in creating and consuming REST APIs.

• Knowledgeable in relational databases and Entity Framework (EF) Core.

• Familiar with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) best practices, Docker, and web security protocols.

• Strong communication skills.

• A collaborative team player with excellent problem-solving abilities.
