Full Stack Developer – Co-op

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance features for Flexspring's iPaaS product.

• Grasp the customer challenges that each feature addresses.

• Write backend and full-stack code utilizing Java and JavaScript.

• Manage APIs and data interactions between HR systems.

• Leverage modern tools, including AI, and evaluate their outputs prior to release.

• Create and execute tests.

• Collaborate with seasoned developers through code reviews and team discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of one completed co-op term or relevant professional experience is preferred.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• A strong foundation in Java and/or JavaScript.

• Some familiarity with Spring and JUnit; academic projects are acceptable.

• Experience with or knowledge of APIs.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Capability to learn new technologies, including AI tools, and critically analyze the output generated.

• Curiosity, drive, and a passion for problem-solving.

• Experience with REST APIs, React, GraphQL, Groovy, JMS, or SOAP is a plus.

• An interest in integration platforms (iPaaS) is advantageous.
