This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, maintain, and enhance headless CMS/WordPress-based websites for various educational institutions.

• Conceptualize and implement new features, functionalities, and templates for websites.

• Work collaboratively with school administrators, educators, marketing, and IT personnel to identify website needs and develop project plans.

• Enhance website design and functionality to improve user experience and accessibility.

• Provide architectural guidance, refactor code, implement improvements, and conduct code reviews.

• Assist with the migration of websites, troubleshoot bugs, and address production issues.

• Oversee DevOps processes and support testing, deployments, security, and monitoring.

• Evaluate and manage pull requests and code integrations.

• Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and other analytics to guide enhancements.

• Ensure the security, backup, and upkeep of websites.

• Maintain full accountability for development, testing, deployment, and code stewardship following production release.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.

• Collaborate with schools and educational organizations to fulfill their website needs.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree and/or certifications in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in headless CMS/WordPress development and web development, with a strong understanding of the React ecosystem.

• Proficient in both front-end and back-end development for Contentful CMS.

• Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.

• In-depth knowledge of React patterns, hooks, context, and performance optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with Next.js, SSR/SSG principles, and contemporary build tools like Webpack and Vite.

• Well-versed in data caching and GraphQL in relation to headless CMS.

• Comprehension of web design principles and user experience best practices.

• Experience with website analytics and monitoring tools.

• Knowledge of website security, backup, and maintenance protocols.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

• Strong communication and project management capabilities.

• Must pass the required background check.
