Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the FAA’s NAS Defense Program through comprehensive full stack development and documentation.

• Engage in discussions with team members and stakeholders, offering insightful recommendations.

• Design UI wireframes for new software features.

• Create and maintain application documentation with a focus on precision.

• Develop unit tests utilizing Jest, react-testing-library, and comparable tools.

• Participate in team coding exercises and collaborative programming sessions.

• Conduct code reviews and approve pull requests.

• Engage in discussions regarding functional and technical design analysis.

• Assist with security and deficiency assessments.

• Troubleshoot technical issues impacting system performance.

• Contribute to the development of architectural designs and recommendations for system modernization.

• Collect requirements and conduct testing.

• Provide support for configuration management, software release management, automated pipeline processes, and containerization.

• Create system documentation, including system design documents, software architecture documentation, and diagrams.

• Adjust responsibilities as needed to align with team and organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• At least five (5) years of relevant experience.

• Experience in developing web applications using React or another modern framework (such as Angular, Vue, etc.).

• Proficiency with Node.js or MongoDB.

• Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.

• Experience in developing and supporting Docker-based web applications.

• Familiarity with Atlassian products, including JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and fulfill all contractual obligations.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic development setting.

• Preferred: experience in implementing CI/CD systems.

• Preferred: experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, and Node).

• Preferred: experience with Python.

• Preferred: experience with Ansible.

• Preferred: experience in creating UI wireframe diagrams.

• Preferred: experience with GIS technologies (Esri, ArcGIS).
