Full-Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop and improve production applications utilizing Next.js, React, TypeScript, Django, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.

• Create new features while enhancing and sustaining existing systems and workflows.

• Design responsive, accessible, and reusable frontend components.

• Build secure, scalable, and maintainable backend services and APIs.

• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases, schemas, queries, and migrations.

• Diagnose and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.

• Enhance application performance, reliability, maintainability, and test coverage.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

• Convert product requirements into technical solutions and implementation strategies.

• Document technical decisions, architectural considerations, and system behavior.

• Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, designers, and project teams.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and technical concerns at early stages.

• Take ownership of features from discovery through development, deployment, and post-release validation.

• Report directly to the CTO / Technical Lead.

• Work collaboratively with international teams across various time zones.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent proven capability.

• Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js development.

• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and contemporary frontend development practices.

• Professional experience in Python.

• Practical experience with both Django and FastAPI frameworks.

• Solid understanding of REST API development, including authentication, authorization, and secure application design.

• Experience in designing and utilizing PostgreSQL databases.

• Ability to write efficient SQL queries and enhance database performance.

• Experience maintaining existing applications within established codebases.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development processes.

• Experience writing automated tests, encompassing unit, integration, and API tests.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with Django REST Framework.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, or asynchronous Python services.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with TanStack Query, React Hook Form, Zod, or similar frontend libraries.

• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Celery, Redis, background processing, or message queue systems.

• Nice-to-have: Experience integrating third-party APIs, webhooks, or identity providers.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Docker and containerized development setups.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud service platforms.

• Nice-to-have: Exposure to monitoring, logging, observability, and performance analysis tools.

• Nice-to-have: Experience in modernizing or refactoring legacy applications.

• Nice-to-have: Consultancy, agency, or client-facing software development experience.
