Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients, digital leaders, solutions architects, and technical/functional leads within Guidehouse's digital teams and market segments.

• Assist with client projects and contribute to growth initiatives and capability development.

• Address technical challenges and conduct demonstrations for the modernization team.

• Create innovative solution prototypes leveraging cloud architectures and software technologies.

• Design and develop scalable, secure distributed systems utilizing modern software technologies, Cloud Native, microservices architecture, containerization, and API-First design patterns.

• Design, build, test, and deploy resilient software products on AWS.

• Work in partnership with UX designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts.

• Provide support for solution architecture in proposal technical volumes, white papers, RFPs/RFIs, and thought leadership efforts.

• Deliver cloud-based software products using CI/CD tools while collaborating with DevSecOps teams.

• Design, build, test, and deploy custom applications within the AWS cloud.

• Manage customer requirements and engineer software solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

• At least six (6) years of prior relevant experience in full-stack application development.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in cloud application development on AWS.

• Proficient in Python and JavaScript.

• Experience in implementing frontend and backend services for cloud-native software products.

• Familiarity with Django and Vue.JS or specified alternatives: Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, or SQLAlchemy; React, Svelte, or Angular version 1.6 or higher.

• Capable of working independently while also collaborating, mentoring, assisting, and supporting team members.

• Ability to develop software products and solution prototypes, effectively communicating complex design alternatives.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles.

• Experienced Agile practitioner with the ability to plan and implement software products with agility.

• AWS Certified Developer certification is a plus.

• Experience with Flask, Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, Elasticsearch, caching frameworks, Redis, Memcached, Amazon RDS for Postgres, and/or MongoDB is advantageous.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM) and Model-View-Controller design patterns is required.

• Capability to design cloud-based software products adhering to AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.

• Proficient with contemporary CI/CD pipeline tooling.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and security (DevSecOps) teams.

• Competence in designing, building, testing, and deploying software products on AWS.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in managing customer requirements and engineering solutions.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

• Clearance required: ability to obtain Public Trust.
