Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain responsive enterprise web applications.

• Create reusable front-end components and scalable back-end services using established frameworks and coding standards.

• Convert business and technical requirements into secure and maintainable software solutions.

• Diagnose defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and assist in resolving production issues.

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle APEX applications that support MODES III business processes.

• Develop and optimize Oracle SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.

• Integrate Oracle APEX applications with enterprise systems and RESTful services utilizing Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).

• Aid in the modernization or migration of legacy applications to Oracle APEX solutions.

• Design, construct, document, and uphold secure RESTful APIs and system integrations.

• Assist with the deployment and operations of applications in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.

• Work alongside DevSecOps engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and deployment automation.

• Contribute to application performance monitoring, tuning, availability, and reliability.

• Implement secure software development methodologies and engage in code reviews, automated testing, and vulnerability remediation.

• Coordinate with cybersecurity professionals to adhere to RMF, Zero Trust, NIST SP 800-53, and Authority to Operate requirements.

• Develop accessible applications and content in accordance with Section 508 standards.

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, UX specialists, architects, testers, and Government stakeholders.

• Provide work estimates, technical documentation, status updates, and knowledge transfer.

• Modernize and maintain MODES III applications that support military personnel and their families.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active Secret clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be accepted.

• At least 6+ years of experience in enterprise software development, including a minimum of 3+ years in full stack development.

• Practical experience in developing and maintaining Oracle APEX applications in an enterprise setting.

• Strong proficiency with Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, ORDS, and RESTful service integration.

• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and at least one modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Experience with one or more back-end technologies such as Java, C#/.NET, Node.js, or Python.

• Experience with Git-based source control, issue tracking, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.

• Experience in supporting cloud-hosted applications in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

• Proficiency with tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred.

• CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred.

• Certifications in Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, AWS, or Agile-related fields are preferred.

• Experience with Federal or Department of War programs is preferred.

• Familiarity with operating in IL4/IL5 or other regulated cloud environments is preferred.

• Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, microservices, container technologies, and infrastructure as code is preferred.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams while managing multiple priorities.

• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail, customer focus, and dedication to software quality and mission outcomes.
