Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain responsive enterprise web applications.

• Create reusable front-end components and scalable back-end services utilizing approved frameworks and coding standards.

• Convert business and technical requirements into secure, maintainable software solutions.

• Diagnose defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and assist in resolving production issues.

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle APEX applications that support MODES III business processes.

• Develop and optimize Oracle SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.

• Integrate Oracle APEX applications with enterprise systems and RESTful services using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).

• Facilitate the modernization or migration of legacy applications into Oracle APEX solutions.

• Design, construct, document, and maintain secure RESTful APIs and system integrations.

• Assist with application deployment and operations within AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.

• Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and deployment automation.

• Aid in application performance monitoring, tuning, availability, and reliability.

• Implement secure software development practices and engage in code reviews, automated testing, and vulnerability remediation.

• Work with cybersecurity personnel to support RMF, Zero Trust, NIST SP 800-53, and Authority to Operate requirements.

• Develop accessible applications and content that align with Section 508 requirements.

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, UX specialists, architects, testers, and Government stakeholders.

• Provide work estimates, technical documentation, status updates, and knowledge transfer.

• Help modernize and sustain MODES III applications that support military members and their families.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active Secret clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

• Minimum of 10+ years of enterprise software development experience, including at least 3+ years in full stack development.

• Practical experience in developing and maintaining Oracle APEX applications in an enterprise setting.

• Strong proficiency with Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, ORDS, and RESTful service integration.

• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and at least one modern front-end framework like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Familiarity with one or more back-end technologies such as Java, C#/.NET, Node.js, or Python.

• Experience utilizing Git-based source control, issue tracking, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.

• Experience supporting cloud-hosted applications in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

• CompTIA Security+ certification is mandatory.

• Experience in supporting Federal or Department of War programs.

• Experience operating in IL4/IL5 or other regulated cloud environments.

• Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, microservices, container technologies, and infrastructure as code.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams while managing multiple priorities.

• Self-starter with a keen attention to detail, customer focus, and a commitment to software quality and mission outcomes.
