Full-Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain internal web applications and business systems.

• Establish and support integrations between internal platforms and external services, including eCommerce and vital business systems.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs utilizing Python, Django, Flask, and related technologies.

• Contribute to full-stack application development, encompassing backend services and user-facing interfaces.

• Engage in the design and implementation of scalable cloud solutions on AWS.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and third-party partners to gather requirements and deliver solutions focused on business needs.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that adheres to established engineering best practices.

• Ensure applications meet standards for security, performance, scalability, and operational reliability.

• Diagnose application issues and assist with the resolution of production incidents.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to enhancements in the development process, automation, and delivery pipeline.

• Support the modernization and enhancement of existing applications and integrations.

• Assess and responsibly utilize AI-enabled development tools and automation opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional software development experience.

• Extensive experience with Python and modern web application frameworks such as Django and Flask.

• Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Experienced in integrating with third-party platforms and APIs, including SaaS and eCommerce solutions like Shopify.

• Familiarity with AWS services and deploying cloud-based applications.

• Proficient in version control systems such as Git and collaborative software development methodologies.

• Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Understanding of software architecture, security, performance, and scalability principles.

• Possession of a degree, diploma, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
