Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance secure full-stack web applications for insurance and accounting operations.

• Construct responsive frontend interfaces, forms, dashboards, and workflows.

• Create backend services, business logic, APIs, database interactions, scheduled processes, and integrations.

• Implement workflows for policy processing, claims, billing, payments, invoicing, reconciliation, reporting, and financial data management.

• Integrate various business systems including insurance, accounting, CRM, payment, and reporting systems.

• Develop data validation, transformation, error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms.

• Write unit, integration, end-to-end, and automated tests.

• Assist with deployments, release activities, CI/CD, configuration changes, and deployment automation.

• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, tracing, and diagnostic tools.

• Engage in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident enhancements.

• Apply secure coding practices, access control, authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection methods.

• Maintain technical documentation, deployment notes, troubleshooting guides, API documentation, and support procedures.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, operations, security, and business stakeholders.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimate tasks, communicate progress, and raise technical risks or blockers.

• Suggest improvements to architecture, automation, development processes, and operational efficiency.

• Share technical expertise and contribute to onboarding and knowledge transfer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2+ years of professional experience in full stack development, software engineering, application development, or a similar role.

• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Experience in developing backend services with .NET, Spring, Django, Node.js, or equivalent technology.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, web standards, and frontend architecture.

• Experience in developing or integrating RESTful APIs, web services, authentication, and third-party interfaces.

• Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and database performance fundamentals.

• Strong understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

• Experience with Git or another version control system and collaborative development workflows.

• Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, debugging, and QA practices.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze technical issues across both frontend and backend systems.

• Excellent English communication skills.
