This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-based software platforms that support data-intensive and AI-driven applications.

• Influence architectural decisions, technical strategies, and best practices in software engineering within complex enterprise systems.

• Construct and enhance secure, dependable, and high-performance backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.

• Collaborate effectively with product managers, software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

• Lead code reviews, set development standards, and advocate for software quality, maintainability, and scalability.

• Create cloud-native solutions utilizing modern infrastructure, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.

• Design and execute integrations with external systems, platforms, and data sources.

• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and regulatory requirements when managing sensitive data.

• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across various projects and teams.

• Promote continuous improvement aimed at enhancing system reliability, operational excellence, and engineering efficiency.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 10 years of software development experience in creating enterprise-scale applications and platforms.

• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and developing cloud-native applications.

• Proficient in Python, with experience in Java, TypeScript, or other contemporary programming languages.

• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable software architectures and distributed systems.

• Strong knowledge of API development, system integrations, and microservices architectures.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.

• Understanding of software security, data privacy, and compliance best practices.

• Experience handling large, complex datasets and working in highly regulated environments is preferred.

• AWS Solutions Architect certification or similar cloud certification is preferred.

• Previous experience in healthcare, life sciences, medical technology, or other regulated industries is preferred.

• Exceptional communication, technical leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.

• Must be available to collaborate with teams across multiple U.S. time zones.
