Full Stack AI/ML Developer – Digital Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to conceptualize, develop, and oversee digital products from inception to launch and adoption.

• Create front-end architectures along with intuitive and responsive user interfaces.

• Design and implement backend services utilizing C#, Java, and Python.

• Develop and sustain scalable APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks.

• Work alongside Data Scientists and AI Engineers to incorporate AI/ML models into applications, including inference pipelines, intelligent features, and model-driven user experiences.

• Establish and maintain data and application pipelines that support AI/ML functionalities and model deployment.

• Collaborate on feature engineering, model testing, validation, and operationalization.

• Employ DevOps practices across CI/CD, automated testing, cloud deployment, and containerized workloads.

• Influence stakeholders and facilitate decision-making through effective communication, structured artifacts, and product storytelling.

• Engage in Agile workflows, which include sprint definition, backlog prioritization, and iterative product releases.

• Remain updated on emerging technologies in cloud, AI/ML, front-end, backend, and development sectors.

• Ensure that solutions align with technical specifications and meet customer requirements.

• Uphold UI/UX design standards and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field with 12+ years of relevant work experience; OR an Advanced Degree with 10+ years of applicable work experience.

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics, AI/ML, or related technical fields.

• 5+ years of experience architecting cloud-native data platforms using Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Extensive experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, and modern ELT/ETL tools.

• Strong comprehension of distributed systems, real-time data streaming, data governance, and API/Integration architectures.

• Proven capability to design and implement enterprise-scale data architecture solutions.

• Familiarity with MLflow, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Azure ML, SageMaker, and Vertex.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Preferred: 12+ years of experience in digital technology and/or product development.

• Preferred: Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms.

• Preferred: Strong professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Preferred: Experience in developing microservices and REST APIs.

• Preferred: Proficiency in CI/CD practices and production deployment.

• Preferred: Experience with Agile software delivery and SDLC management.

• Preferred: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms.

• Preferred: Familiarity with web application security principles.

• Preferred: Experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams.

• Preferred: Experience in building or supporting AI/ML features, inference APIs, or application-level ML workflows.

• Preferred: Ability to articulate technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.

• Preferred: Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Preferred: Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment with autonomy and accountability.
