FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct third-party onsite audits for FSSC 22000, BRCGS, and/or SQF for clients in North America.

• Offer prompt and precise evaluations of customer corrective actions and their resolutions.

• Deliver timely, comprehensive, and accurate reports detailing the client's compliance status and management system implementation.

• Record and communicate audit activities and outcomes effectively.

• Engage directly with clients across various management levels.

• Keep a schedule of audit activities organized.

• Ensure maintenance of relevant auditor credentials and actively pursue further credential advancements as necessary.

• Play a role in the enhancement and growth of a premier, industry-leading audit delivery team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Food-related or Bioscience field.

• Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience in the food or allied industry.

• Current Lead Auditor certification for FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management Systems, with necessary approvals for categories CIV and K.

• Capable of lifting and transporting up to 10 lbs, in addition to carrying personal luggage for extended travel, and performing movements such as pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling.

• Able to walk and stand for periods of up to four (4) hours and navigate various levels of client locations using stairs or elevators.

• Willing and able to travel up to 100% of the time.

• Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to rent and operate a vehicle, as well as use public transportation when necessary.

• Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.

• Completion of pre-employment drug and background checks.

• Preferred: Current ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.

• Preferred: Current Lead Auditor certification for BRCGS or SQF.
