Contractor, Auditor/Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Review management system manuals and related documentation to ensure compliance with requirements and relevant codes and/or standards.

• Plan, schedule, and execute initial, surveillance, and re-certification audits.

• Prepare and maintain audit logs along with all necessary documentation.

• Draft and issue reports and recommendations for certification.

• Lead introductory and closing meetings at client locations.

• Ensure audit independence by refraining from involvement in business development activities.

• Perform additional program-specific duties and responsibilities as outlined in each program procedure.

• Report directly to the Technical Manager.

• Work independently without direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional education or training equivalent to a university degree, along with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Management Systems.

• Completion of an approved Lead Auditor Course in accordance with ISO9001 and/or ISO45001 and/or ISO14001.

• Completion of EMS and H&S Legislation training courses for ISO14001 and ISO45001 qualification, with a minimum duration of 24 hours for each course.

• Capability to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to various problems.

• Proficient communication skills, both oral and written.

• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with others.

• Capacity to acquire a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.

• Previous experience in second- or third-party audits on behalf of a Certification Body is advantageous.
