Frontend Engineer – 3D Web Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Develop the 3D viewer within the HUNTR application to display pipeline outputs as 3D Tiles directly in the browser.

• Incorporate the viewer into the comprehensive workflow, allowing 3D results to be viewed alongside source imagery and detections without the need for downloads.

• Create functional interactions for navigation, inspection, and orientation between 3D and 2D data.

• Collaborate with teams responsible for producing tilesets to guarantee that pipeline outputs are readily usable by the browser.

• Analyze and enhance tile size, texture compression, request patterns, and load times for standard laptops.

• Deploy a single viewer across SaaS, single-tenant cloud, on-premise, and edge environments.

• Develop the user-facing Control Plane application to facilitate custom model training, inference, map visualization, and intricate workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Vue.js and the development of complex, stateful single-page applications.

• Proficient in rendering 3D geospatial content in the browser using Cesium or a similar library.

• Familiar with 3D Tiles or an equivalent tiled 3D format.

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles: HTML, CSS, TypeScript, component and integration testing, CI/CD, and performance profiling.

• Knowledge of geospatial concepts including coordinate reference systems, raster versus vector data, tiled data structures, and GeoJSON.

• Experience working with REST APIs and managing asynchronous states with long-running backend processes.

• Strong understanding of user experience in technical products.
