Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and enhance user interfaces for internal tools

• Focus primarily on building and refining front-end user interfaces

• Assume responsibility for Power BI reports and dashboards

• Manage the Power BI report deployment process

• Create and update individual Power BI reports as part of the onboarding process

• Address Power BI requests directly from client-facing teams

• Provide updates on Power BI reports and dashboards

• Implement measurable improvements in user interfaces

• Define and document standard metrics, naming conventions, and templates for consistent reporting

• Contribute to the development of a new internal configuration-management interface from scratch

• Collaborate effectively with Engineering and client-facing teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

• Proficient, hands-on skills in front-end web development (React or similar technology)

• Solid, practical experience with Power BI, sufficient for managing report and dashboard delivery

• Familiarity with the Power BI data layer, including semantic models, DAX, and Power Query/M

• Knowledge of SQL

• Willingness to learn and eventually take ownership of an existing Python-based deployment/automation codebase

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience working in partnership with engineers and cross-functional or client-facing teams

• Strong attention to design and usability

• Ability to enhance deployment process reliability by minimizing fragile, manual steps

• Preferred: Experience with Power BI Projects (PBIP) and TMDL semantic-model definitions

• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)

• Preferred: Experience with design systems, component libraries, or UX tools like Figma

• Preferred: Familiarity with Azure Resource Graph, Log Analytics/KQL, and Microsoft Sentinel
