This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +5 more countries.
• Develop and uphold the client-side of web applications.
• Convert UI/UX designs and Figma mockups into high-quality, responsive, accessible, efficient, clean, and reusable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript interfaces.
• Create and sustain component libraries and design systems.
• Work in collaboration with back-end engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Enhance application performance through techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, caching strategies, and asset optimization.
• Write unit and integration tests for front-end components.
• Take part in code reviews and contribute to decisions regarding front-end architecture.
• Ensure compatibility across different browsers and adherence to WCAG web accessibility standards.
• Work alongside UX/UI designers to provide input on technical feasibility and iterate on designs.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in the front-end ecosystem and contribute to setting technical standards.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers, designers, and product managers to create seamless, accessible, and scalable web experiences.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in front-end engineering.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with a modern front-end framework such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience in consuming REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaborative development processes.
• Strong attention to UI detail and a commitment to delivering refined user experiences.
• Nice to have: Experience with Next.js or Nuxt.js for server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG).
• Nice to have: Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, Pinia, or similar.
• Nice to have: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• Nice to have: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with design systems and tools like Figma or Storybook.
