This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute UI enhancements, CSS modifications, and formatting adjustments to elevate user experience and ensure consistency.
• Implement accessibility (508/WCAG) improvements, which include semantic markup, alt-text, keyboard navigation, and structural revisions.
• Assist with content-driven code modifications, including template revisions, layout changes, and component upgrades.
• Work in collaboration with UX, design, and content teams to convert requirements into responsive, standards-compliant front-end code.
• Perform cross-browser testing and resolve rendering discrepancies.
• Enhance page performance, asset delivery, and front-end loading times.
• Maintain reusable front-end components and facilitate the implementation of the design system.
• Conduct code reviews and comply with secure coding, documentation, and version control practices.
• Validate front-end modifications in development, staging, and production environments.
• Ensure all updates align with enterprise brand, content, and accessibility standards.
• Candidate must hold a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust from any federal agency or possess an active Secret clearance or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in front-end development.
• Proven experience in implementing UI modifications, style updates, and content-driven code adjustments.
• Familiarity with ensuring compliance with Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, including UX, design, and content roles.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks or component libraries.
• Understanding of accessibility requirements (508/WCAG) and semantic coding practices.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and structured front-end workflows.
• Strong attention to detail in user interface, formatting, and accessibility aspects.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Capability to balance iterative enhancements with long-term front-end advancements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality updates within deadlines.
