This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Record and create audio transcripts in French for the training of AI models and enhancement of audio data.

• Utilize a customer-service voice that ranges from neutral to upbeat, ensuring clear articulation and steady pacing.

• Adhere to written punctuation and transcript guidelines meticulously.

• Modify transcripts as necessary to capture natural pacing.

• Dedicate approximately 2–10 hours weekly over a span of 1–2 weeks.

• Collaborate with top AI researchers on projects through Mercor.

• Work remotely with a flexible schedule that you manage independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have been born and raised in France.

• Proficient in English.

• Capable of communicating in a “customer service” voice with a neutral to upbeat tone, clear enunciation, and consistent pacing.

• Strong attention to detail regarding punctuation, commas, and dashes.

• Competent in recording transcripts exactly as they are written or editing them for natural pacing.

• A professional audio recording setup is required, including a home studio equipped with a professional-grade microphone, soundproofing, audio interface, pop filter, and editing software for post-production.

• Prior experience in professional voice acting is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in speaking and audio-related fields such as music, television, podcasts, Twitch streaming, comedy, YouTube, radio, or similar areas is encouraged.

• Availability to commit 2–10 hours weekly for approximately 1–2 weeks.

• Must be able to operate as an independent contractor.

• Mercor cannot accommodate H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this moment.
