📋 Description

• Crafting swift, precise, and captivating news articles within Dexerto's primary coverage domains.

• Reporting on gaming, TV & Movies, anime, entertainment, food, social media, content creators, and viral internet phenomena.

• Discovering stories through social media, industry connections, and trend analysis.

• Proposing original story concepts and features.

• Publishing and promoting articles on social media platforms including X and Facebook.

• Composing social media copy that drives engagement and broadens the reach of stories.

• Collaborating closely with editors to ensure all content aligns with Dexerto's editorial guidelines.

• Contributing creative ideas for headlines, angles, and subsequent coverage.

• Assisting in identifying emerging trends prior to their mainstream recognition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in writing for a digital publication, website, newspaper, magazine, or similar medium.

• Strong news judgment coupled with an instinct for stories that will appeal to online audiences.

• Exceptional writing, research, and fact-checking abilities.

• A genuine passion for gaming, entertainment, social media, content creators, and online culture.

• A solid understanding of social media platforms and the dynamics of how stories circulate online.

• Familiarity with platforms such as X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, and Reddit.

• Experience managing content postings to social media accounts on behalf of a publication is preferred.

• The capability to work efficiently without compromising accuracy.
