This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create original content in Japanese for various platforms including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, advertisements, and product descriptions.
• Localize international content to align with Japanese cultural practices and communication styles.
• Adjust the tone of writing based on the platform, encompassing formal, polite, casual, business, and youth-oriented styles.
• Perform research on Japanese market trends, consumer behavior, and competitors.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize content for Japanese SEO, focusing on keywords, structure, and search intent.
• Review and edit Japanese content for precision, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Preserve the brand's voice while ensuring it resonates naturally with a Japanese audience.
• Proficiency in Japanese at a native level.
• Exceptional writing abilities across various Japanese styles.
• Strong grasp of grammar, nuances, and kanji usage.
• Comprehensive understanding of Japanese social norms, values, and communication practices.
• Capability to write in an indirect, polite, and contextual manner when necessary.
• Familiarity with seasonal, cultural, and social references.
• Insight into Japanese consumer behavior.
• A degree in Japanese, Communications, Marketing, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in writing for Japanese audiences.
