Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Develop and create client websites utilizing WordPress with Blocksy, Elementor, and/or Divi.

• Convert brand guidelines, content, and strategies into refined website designs.

• Design visually appealing, user-friendly, and conversion-optimized page layouts.

• Construct responsive pages suitable for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

• Make informed choices regarding typography, imagery, spacing, navigation, and visual hierarchy.

• Operate within established client brands while infusing innovative creative concepts.

• Collaborate with Creative, Client Success, Content, and Search teams.

• Implement SEO and Search Everywhere best practices into website design and structure.

• Make updates and improvements based on feedback from internal and client sources.

• Utilize contemporary design tools, including AI-assisted features when beneficial.

• Merge design, content, user experience, and discoverability for client websites.

⛳️ Requirements

• A robust portfolio demonstrating web design expertise.

• Practical experience in designing and building WordPress websites.

• Preference for candidates with experience in Blocksy, Elementor, and/or Divi.

• Strong visual design abilities and comprehension of typography, layout, color, and hierarchy.

• Proven experience in creating responsive websites for desktop, tablet, and mobile.

• Knowledge of UX, navigation, and design focused on conversions.

• Capability to transform an established brand into an engaging website experience.

• Comfortable working collaboratively with content, SEO, and client-facing teams.

• Highly organized, responsive, and adept at managing multiple deadlines.

• Experience in an agency or multi-client environment is advantageous.
