Freelance Translator, English to Vietnamese – Marketing & Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for a diverse range of clients

• Prepare and finalize translated content prior to client delivery

• Translate from English to Vietnamese

• Manage materials related to Marketing, Corporate Communication, and Retail

• Collaborate effectively with managers and Project Managers

• Fulfill the translation requirements of global clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities in Vietnamese

• Expertise in Marketing, Corporate Communication, and Retail

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar

• Capacity to uphold professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines

• Candidates must sign a confidentiality agreement

• Candidates are required to complete free Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM tests

• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent qualification with substantial translation training from a recognized higher education institution; OR

• 2 years of translation experience along with a college degree; OR

• 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; OR

• A certificate of competence in translation issued by a relevant governmental authority

• Candidates must include relevant Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM experience in their CV

• Candidates should provide their proposed best Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading per-word rates in USD
