Freelance Translator, English to Vietnamese – Life Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for a diverse range of clients.

• Create and finalize translated content prior to client delivery.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and work under the supervision of a manager.

• Translate documents from English into Vietnamese within the Life Sciences sector.

• Engage with materials related to Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Technical, Clinical Patient-facing, and Clinical Outcome Assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese.

• Expertise in Life Science disciplines.

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.

• Ability to uphold professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines.

• Candidates must sign a confidentiality agreement.

• Applicants must complete free Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM assessments.

• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent qualification with significant translation training from a recognized higher education institution; OR

• A minimum of 2 years of translation experience alongside a college degree; OR

• At least 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; OR

• A certificate of competence in translation issued by an appropriate government authority.
