This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Localize creative assets using Adobe Creative Suite, focusing primarily on InDesign and After Effects, Figma, and motion graphics files for over 16 target languages.
• Oversee design localization workflows by submitting translation requests through Smartling and integrating completed translations into Figma and other design files.
• Modify layouts, spacing, formatting, and visual components to accommodate language-specific text expansion and contraction.
• Ensure consistency in terminology, brand guidelines, formatting, and design standards throughout localized assets.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify accuracy, formatting, visual integrity, and overall design quality.
• Facilitate the localization of digital, print, presentation, video, and other creative materials.
• Coordinate localization workflows, timelines, file transfers, and deliverables across various languages and file types.
• Collaborate with the Director of Localization, translation team, designers, and other stakeholders to address localization challenges.
• Maintain organized asset libraries, file naming conventions, version control, and final deliverables.
• Monitor project status and communicate updates, risks, and outstanding needs to stakeholders.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in localization processes, templates, and production workflows.
• Participate in special projects for the Localization, Design, and Product Design teams.
• Report to the Director of Localization and collaborate closely with the design team and Head of Product Design.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in creative production, localization, graphic design, or a related area.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Figma.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics tools, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, or similar platforms.
• Experience with localization workflows and best practices in multilingual design.
• Capability to work accurately with translated content across various languages.
• Strong grasp of layout, typography, spacing, formatting, and visual design principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and file types concurrently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Skill to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Localization, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with localization management platforms or computer-assisted translation tools.
• Awareness of right-to-left language considerations.
• Understanding of design-to-code handoff processes.
• Experience in a SaaS, technology, cybersecurity, or global organization.
• Background in supporting video, motion graphics, or multimedia localization.
