Spanish Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation from English to Spanish via OPI and VRI.

• Facilitate communication between healthcare professionals and patients.

• Provide interpretation services in medical, social services, customer support, and financial environments.

• Operate remotely as part of a collaborative interpretation team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrable prior experience in remote OPI/VRI interpretation is essential.

• Established expertise in remote English-Spanish OPI/VRI interpretation.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with patient privacy regulations and HIPAA compliance.

• Native-level proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• Outstanding active listening skills.

• Ethernet cable must be directly connected to the router; Wi-Fi connections are not allowed.

• A client-approved USB headset is mandatory; Bluetooth, mono, and built-in microphones are not accepted.

• Approved headset models include Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Jabra Evolve, Microsoft LifeChat LX-6000, Plantronics Blackwire C3220, Dell Plantronics, and HP Stereo USB Headset G2.

• Intel i5 processor, 6th Generation or newer is required.

• A 720p or 1080p webcam is necessary.

• Updated versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox browser are required.
