Freelance QA Tester, Software Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing on new features and bug fixes as specified in Jira tickets marked “Testing.”

• Execute regression tests to confirm that recent updates do not disrupt existing functionalities.

• Ensure that all acceptance criteria and bug resolutions are adequately met.

• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and unexpected behaviors.

• Record bugs with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots/videos, and their priority levels.

• Generate follow-up tickets as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and the development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in manual software testing, preferably within a SaaS or web application context.

• An independent and dependable work ethic as a freelancer.

• Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems is advantageous.

• A structured and detail-oriented mindset—you are adept at uncovering bugs that may be missed by others.

• Proficient communication skills in German and/or English.

• A CV/profile along with 1–2 examples of significant bugs you identified in past projects.
