Freelance Presentation Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality presentations for practical applications related to the Tendem project.

• Utilize expertise in visual communication, information design, and storytelling.

• Create impactful pitch decks and professional one-pagers customized for targeted audiences.

• Simplify complex data into clear visual narratives with a focus on minimalism and precise information hierarchy.

• Incorporate custom fonts, refined animations, and cohesive visual design to enhance presentations.

• Uphold a sophisticated, persuasive, premium corporate-meets-creative style throughout all deliverables.

• Ensure visual consistency, pacing, formatting quality, and brand compliance prior to final submission.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative disciplines is an advantage.

• A strong portfolio showcasing high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization work.

• Comprehensive understanding of pacing, storytelling, and information design principles.

• A methodical and detail-oriented approach to design tasks.

• Capacity to work autonomously and convert complex narratives into high-quality visuals.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, and similar presentation software.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma.

• Ability to distill complex data and multi-level hierarchical structures into clear, minimalist visual stories.

• Strong typography and animation abilities, including custom fonts and fluid, elegant animations.

• Proven experience in crafting high-end, premium corporate-meets-creative style layouts.

• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to visual excellence.

• Self-motivated work ethic and capability to resolve design challenges independently.

• Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.

• CV must include a link to a portfolio that features high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization; applications without a portfolio link or relevant presentation samples will not be considered.
