Freelance – Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create tutorials, reels, and videos that demonstrate how to effectively use the John Deere platform.

• Edit tutorials and social media materials based on established scripts and briefs.

• Incorporate motion graphics, dynamic captions, transitions, and adjust pacing in the edits.

• Convert webinars, training sessions, and onboarding presentations into comprehensive versions, short clips, and highlight reels.

• Edit footage captured in the field, during events, and at agricultural industry conferences.

• Ensure visual identity and messaging consistency across different formats.

• Organize and manage project files, assets, and reusable templates efficiently.

• Keep video content current as the platform undergoes updates.

• Identify outdated tutorials and recommend necessary updates.

• Work alongside the Field Adoption team to pinpoint recurring themes for explainer videos.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in motion design and video editing specifically for social media and/or educational content.

• A portfolio or reel is mandatory.

• Proficient in CapCut and at least one professional editing software (Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects).

• Strong understanding of pacing and visual storytelling, particularly for short formats.

• Experience working with gimbal-recorded footage, preferably using Insta360 or comparable equipment.

• Capable of handling field recordings effectively.

• Ability to work independently following defined scripts or briefs.

• Excellent organizational skills and capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

• Advanced proficiency in English is required.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

• Basic graphic design skills using Figma, Canva, or similar tools are beneficial.

• General knowledge of agriculture or interest in agtech is a plus.

• Experience in creating tutorial or onboarding video content is highly desirable.
