This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create evidence-based medical education strategies and scientific communication plans for pharmaceutical and biotech clients throughout EMEA markets, including the UK.
• Integrate clinical data, disease landscape research, guidelines, and competitive intelligence into concise strategic recommendations and client-facing deliverables.
• Oversee the creation of publication plans, congress strategies, scientific narrative frameworks, and other medical strategy outputs for client teams and medical affairs stakeholders.
• This role is designed for freelance, ad-hoc support based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with medical writers, Strategy, Creative, and client medical affairs teams to ensure that deliverables are scientifically accurate, insight-driven, and aligned with brand objectives.
• Contribute to business development by providing strategic input into proposals, capability presentations, and thought leadership content that showcases Klick’s medical and scientific expertise.
• Proven agency experience providing medical strategy or scientific communications for pharmaceutical or biotech clients in a client-facing role.
• Established experience working across EMEA markets, including the UK, with a solid understanding of regional medical affairs, evidence communication, and stakeholder requirements.
• Strong capability to interpret and synthesize clinical data, disease area research, and competitive intelligence into strategic recommendations, publication planning, or congress-related outputs.
• History of leading or shaping medical education strategies, scientific communication plans, or medical affairs materials in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to clearly present strategic ideas to clients and internal stakeholders through written deliverables, workshops, or meetings.
• Comfortable working independently in a freelance capacity while managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder inputs across projects.
• Enthusiastic about using AI as an integral part of work processes.
• Experience in defining medical strategy and scientific communication direction for pharmaceutical brand programs across various markets or launches.
• Familiarity with medical affairs planning, KOL engagement strategy, publication planning, and congress strategy within an agency context.
• Confidence in utilizing common research, insight, and presentation tools to develop strategic outputs and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Interest in responsible AI governance, emerging foundational models, and practical applications of AI in healthcare and medical communications.
• Experience in building effective partnerships across Medical, Strategy, Creative, and Client Services to facilitate efficient progress on projects.
