Freelance Linguist – Simplified Chinese to Norwegian, Technical Automotive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive post-editing (MTPE) and/or proofreading for content translated from Simplified Chinese to Norwegian.

• Engage in a significant consumer electronics project.

• Translate and localize technical content related to the automotive industry.

• Adhere to strict deadlines.

• Coordinate work hours to ensure maximum overlap with APAC time zones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Language pair: Simplified Chinese to Norwegian.

• Services offered: Full post-editing (MTPE) and/or proofreading.

• Must be a native speaker (or equivalent) of Norwegian.

• Strong proficiency in Simplified Chinese.

• Proven experience in automotive translation and localization.

• Relevant background in technical automotive translation/localization projects.

• Detail-oriented and dependable.

• Capable of meeting tight deadlines.
