Freelance Game LQA Tester, English – German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing of localized video game content across different gaming platforms.

• Detect, document, and resolve localization and linguistic issues.

• Confirm fixes utilizing testing tools or databases.

• Adhere to and complete test cases and checklists.

• Implement relevant testing procedures and processes.

• Create bug descriptions in accordance with company standards and client requirements.

• Leverage knowledge of target-market user preferences to enhance the client’s product.

• Actively identify gaps in test coverage.

• Collaborate with partner teams throughout the product testing phase.

• Offer constructive feedback regarding gameplay, enjoyment, and game balance.

• Execute text modifications, detailed bug reporting, and regression testing.

• Undertake additional related tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong passion for video games and frequent gameplay experience.

• Native-level proficiency in German, with excellent spelling and grammar skills.

• Proficient in English for understanding instructions, testing documentation, and team communication.

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• A degree in computer science, game design, or a related field is highly advantageous.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.

• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Understanding of digital technologies, including mobile devices, tablets, and web tools.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.

• Capability to excel and deliver in a fast-paced, innovative, and creative environment.

• CV must be submitted in English.
