This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create original and insightful articles focusing on significant news and events in various sports, including the NBA, MLB, and NFL.

• Deliver timely, informative, and concise fantasy analysis on breaking news, injuries, transactions, and game results.

• Provide fantasy insights for video formats, including live streams and on-demand content.

• Generate and propose innovative strategies for content and coverage of major events.

• Collaborate closely with NBC Sports/Rotoworld writers and contributors to ensure comprehensive coverage around the clock.

• Develop clear, editorially sound, and user-friendly content related to major storylines in multiple sports.

• Efficiently fact-check sports research and statistics.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a sports writing role.

• Knowledge and experience in fantasy sports writing.

• Proficient in using fantasy terminology within written content.

• Strong editorial judgment and engagement with various sports properties.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Willingness to learn and adapt as storylines and trends develop.

• Experience and familiarity with social media platforms, especially X, Bluesky, and Instagram.

• Background in sports betting and participation in fantasy sports is advantageous.

• Availability during evenings and weekends.

• Capability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to track major storylines across various sports and produce clear, editorially sound, and user-friendly content.

• Familiarity with CMS/digital environments.

• Comfort with sports research and statistical sources and methods.

• Proficient in efficient fact-checking.

• Familiarity with AP style guidelines.

• Strong skills in video and audio editorial presentation.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with an editor.
