This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, edit, and publish web pages, articles, landing pages, and resource documents.
• Manage websites and CMS content, including navigation, templates, menus, forms, links, workflows, version history, and archived materials.
• Formulate content strategies and editorial calendars informed by audience research, content inventories, stakeholder interviews, and client goals.
• Oversee content reviews and secure publishing approvals.
• Design page layouts and structure information to enhance navigation and user experience on both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Implement SEO practices through keyword research, page titles, metadata, headings, internal links, image optimization, redirects, sitemaps, and technical adjustments.
• Set up and evaluate website analytics and campaign tracking; provide reports on traffic, search performance, engagement, and conversions.
• Integrate social media, email campaigns, videos, podcasts, publications, and other digital assets into website experiences.
• Organize digital assets with appropriate file names, tags, metadata, and version controls; confirm permissions and accessibility.
• Inspect content for accuracy, accessibility, broken links, and browser compatibility; utilize headings, alternative text, captions, and accessible document practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams on CMS updates, backups, security fixes, and performance challenges.
• Uphold publishing procedures and deliver client training and support.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web content development, website management, digital communications, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of direct experience in publishing and maintaining content in a CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint; this experience can be included in the total requirement.
• Proven experience in applying SEO, analyzing website analytics, and coordinating content across websites and social media platforms.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and plain language communication abilities, with a talent for translating technical information for diverse audiences.
• Proficient in HTML and CSS, with a foundational knowledge of JavaScript sufficient for troubleshooting page behavior and collaborating with developers.
• Solid skills in content architecture, page layout, responsive design, CMS workflows, and digital asset management.
• Capability to juggle multiple assignments, adhere to publishing deadlines, integrate client feedback, and document quality reviews.
• Awareness of web accessibility, brand consistency, and client requirements regarding privacy, security, and information management.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, digital media, web design, information technology, computer science, marketing, or a related field.
