Freelance Fact-Checking Annotators, French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Assess responses for accuracy and reliability of facts

• Consistently implement fact-checking protocols

• Detect misinformation, unsupported assertions, or errors

• Provide organized annotations aligned with project standards

• Uphold a high standard of quality and meticulousness

• Complete the French Language & Reasoning Test as part of the qualification process

• Inform the employer upon test completion for review of results

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in French (FR)

• Strong understanding of English; training and guidelines provided in English

• Prior experience in fact-checking annotation

• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities

• Keen attention to detail

• Capability to adhere to changing guidelines

• Dependable availability and dedication

• Successful completion of a brief French Language & Reasoning Test as part of the unpaid qualification process

• Assessment includes 10 questions with a 90-second time limit

• Retake allowed after approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour if the first attempt is unsuccessful
