Fraud Operations Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee real-time transactions and customer activities flagged for fraudulent behavior and abuse

• Conduct thorough investigations of transactions utilizing internal policies and review methodologies

• Examine account patterns through the use of internal systems and tools

• Conduct research on fraud and user behavior to support machine learning models, rules, and detection systems

• Work collaboratively with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineering teams

• Maintain extensive knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and technologies

• Achieve or surpass SLAs for prompt case resolution

• Manage escalations from both internal and external stakeholders

• Proven experience in data analysis and making significant decisions in a fast-paced, sometimes unclear environment

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities

• Strong business acumen and communication skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight following training

• Required experience working with Claude or similar large language model tools

• Comfortable utilizing AI to boost productivity, research, and communication efforts

• Availability to work full-time Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm local time
