Fraud Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations and resolve fraud cases related to Engine X card fraud, application fraud, and disputes in the travel marketplace throughout the complete investigation lifecycle.

• Quickly assess Early Fraud Warning (EFW) alerts and take swift action to avert disputes before they escalate.

• Oversee card disputes and chargebacks by managing documentation, representment, and resolution processes.

• Maintain detailed documentation for each case in accordance with the standards necessary for filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR).

• Detect patterns across cases, including fraud rings, shared IP signals, and behavioral clusters, and proactively escalate identified findings.

• Collaborate with Member Support, Legal/Compliance, and Credit teams on high-severity and coordinated fraud incidents.

• Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and playbooks as the fraud landscape continues to evolve.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Fraud Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in investigating fraud cases from the alert stage to resolution, including card fraud, application fraud, or identity fraud.

• Familiarity with the chargeback and dispute lifecycle.

• Excellent written documentation skills suitable for regulatory scrutiny.

• Capacity to recognize patterns across multiple cases.

• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable case management platform.

• Experience with fraud detection platforms (such as SEON, Kount, or similar) is an advantage.

• Awareness of BSA/AML regulations; experience supporting SAR filing is a plus.

• Certification as a Fraud Examiner (CFE) is a plus but not mandatory.
