This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide support for the administration, upkeep, and uniform application of compensation programs, policies, procedures, salary structures, and pay guidelines.
• Execute market pricing and compensation analysis utilizing salary survey data, industry benchmarks, internal pay data, and other pertinent sources.
• Assess job descriptions and evaluate positions for job classification, level alignment, exemption status, and salary range positioning.
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on pay decisions, offer recommendations, promotions, transfers, and equity adjustments.
• Assist in the annual compensation planning process, merit reviews, salary adjustments, incentive or bonus administration, budget monitoring, data validation, reporting, and communications.
• Maintain and audit compensation data within HR systems, spreadsheets, and associated files.
• Generate compensation reports, analyses, and summaries to identify trends, pay compression, internal equity considerations, market competitiveness, and risk areas.
• Engage in compensation surveys by collecting, submitting, and validating survey data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Puerto Rico wage and hour regulations, pay transparency mandates, FLSA guidelines, and internal policies.
• Investigate and address compensation inquiries or discrepancies, escalating complex issues as necessary.
• Create and maintain job descriptions, compensation documentation, process guides, templates, and communication materials.
• Enhance compensation processes, reporting, workflows, and tools.
• Cultivate relationships with HR partners, managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver timely compensation support.
• Manage compensation information with discretion, confidentiality, precision, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Participate in or lead meetings and contribute to broader HR projects and initiatives.
• A bachelor’s degree along with 2+ years of experience in compensation, finance, or a related analytical field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Minimum of 1+ years of direct compensation experience, including compensation analysis, pay equity, market pricing, job evaluation, salary structure administration, or pay-related data analysis, is mandatory.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and Puerto Rico wage and hour regulations, FLSA classification guidelines, pay transparency mandates, and compensation compliance practices is essential.
• Experience in healthcare, clinical research, multi-state employers, and remote workforce environments is preferred.
• A professional HR or compensation certification, such as CCP, PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent, is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, as well as web applications, and typing at 40+ wpm is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, encompassing formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, filtering, sorting, and analysis of large data sets is necessary.
• Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities are crucial.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when processing salary data, job information, employee records, calculations, reports, and compensation recommendations is required.
• Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and project coordination skills are essential.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and professionally manage sensitive compensation and employee information is critical.
• Well-developed interpersonal and listening skills, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are required.
• Professionalism, integrity, reliability, respect for others, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic are expected.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision, identify issues, and implement solutions is essential.
• Ability to manage highly sensitive information confidentially and in accordance with privacy and company guidelines is required.
• Full-time employees scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits, with coverage commencing on the first day of the month following their hire date.
