Franchise Business Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of business performance for assigned franchisees, encompassing revenue, profitability, new member acquisition, and retention.

• Lead the annual and quarterly business planning processes in collaboration with franchisees.

• Perform P&L and KPI assessments to pinpoint risks and opportunities.

• Mentor franchisees on four-wall economics, labor optimization, utilization, and pricing strategies.

• Work alongside Learning & Development teams to create training programs that address performance gaps and operational requirements.

• Serve as a liaison between franchisees and Corporate.

• Assist studios in navigating enterprise initiatives, pilots, promotions, and system-wide rollouts.

• Evaluate studio compliance, network certification, and brand experience standards.

• Foster adoption, accountability, and tangible outcomes.

• Act as the main strategic business advisor for franchisees within an assigned territory of roughly 100-150 studios and 25-50 franchisees.

• Collaborate with a Franchise Fitness Consultant to enhance revenue growth, profitability, new member acquisition, member retention, and leadership capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in an Orangetheory Fitness studio (or other boutique fitness) is preferred.

• 1-3 years of experience in multi-unit leadership, franchise business consulting, or as a small business owner.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in fitness environments.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Strong analytical capabilities and business insight.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in a business support role; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Residing within the designated territory: Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, or Virginia.

• Willingness to travel up to 65% within the territory to visit franchise studios.
