Fractional Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead and coordinate accounting initiatives for a diverse array of clients

• Act as a reliable advisor for clients

• Ensure the implementation of appropriate accounting methods, policies, and procedures

• Supervise a Senior Accountant as necessary

• Manage the month-end closing process, including journal entries, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and financial reporting across various entities

• Create financial reporting packages that include dashboard and KPI reporting

• Oversee payroll operations

• Assist with year-end audits and tax engagements

• Collaborate with startups, growth companies, private firms, and VC- and PE-backed organizations across multiple sectors

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years experience in an Accounting Manager role

• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP

• Practical knowledge of tax filings including 1099s and sales tax documents

• Bachelor's Degree is mandatory

• At least 1 year of experience leading small accounting teams

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, clients, and entities simultaneously

• Strong commitment to collaboration and exceptional client service

• Must be a resident of Colorado, Arizona, or Florida
