FP&A Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the company's primary operating models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses.

• Spearhead the budgeting and forecasting processes while ensuring forecast accuracy.

• Produce timely and precise monthly reporting packages that prioritize conclusions for the executive team and board.

• Develop and sustain KPI dashboards along with performance metrics.

• Assist in the monthly and quarterly closing processes through variance analysis that identifies trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to cross-functional leaders.

• Collaborate with BI and data engineering teams to automate recurring analyses into structured, scalable systems.

• Leverage AI tools to expedite tasks and enhance analytical capabilities across the finance department.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or equity research; experience in SaaS or technology is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to manage modeling and forecasting from start to finish with limited supervision.

• Proficient in advanced financial modeling techniques.

• Familiarity with planning software such as Abacum, Adaptive Insights, or Anaplan.

• Experience using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

• Proficient with contemporary AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, prioritizing conclusions in both written and verbal presentations to executives and the board.

• A self-motivated, resourceful, resilient, and results-driven mindset.

• High ethical standards and a strong sense of urgency.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
