Financial Accounting Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist participants throughout their qualification journey.

• Offer support with inquiries related to financial accounting, tax law, and accounting practices.

• Perform reviews of learning progress and document participants’ advancements.

• Recognize support requirements and devise suitable solutions.

• Encourage self-directed learning and effective organization of learning activities.

• Aid participants in utilizing digital learning tools and platforms.

• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant vocational training along with practical experience as a financial accountant or tax assistant.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and double-entry bookkeeping in line with the German Commercial Code (HGB).

• Proficient in annual financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and the income surplus calculation (EÜR).

• Strong knowledge of German tax law, especially value-added tax, income tax, and the Fiscal Code of Germany.

• Extensive hands-on experience with DATEV.

• Familiarity with cost and performance accounting (KLR) and the basics of controlling.

• Previous experience as a trainer or lecturer is advantageous.

• Evidence of teaching or pedagogical competence.
