FP&A Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Take charge of annual budgeting at the business unit level, alongside quarterly reforecasts and monthly outlooks.

• Collaborate with Sales, Services, Product, and other departmental leaders to convert business drivers into P&L and cash flow impacts.

• Assist in the monthly closing process and reporting by examining actuals, driving commentary on variances, and addressing discrepancies with Accounting.

• Maintain operational models for bookings and ARR, headcount and compensation, revenue and billings, and connections between EBITDA and cash flow.

• Prepare quarterly Board presentations and respond to ad hoc requests from sponsors.

• Provide support for M&A due diligence, integration planning, and pro forma financial reporting.

• Help establish planning-system processes, templates, and reporting during the transition from Excel to PBCS.

• Utilize AI tools for analysis, commentary, reconciliation, and reporting workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in the SaaS or software industry.

• At least 2 years in a managerial or senior analyst capacity with significant ownership responsibilities.

• Strong understanding of software metrics including ARR, bookings/ACV, renewals and churn, billings, and deferred revenue.

• Advanced Excel modeling capabilities; skilled in creating a driver-based model from the ground up and articulating each component.

• Practical experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system for actuals, reporting, and data extraction.

• Experience using Salesforce for pipeline, bookings, and renewals data management.

• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Accounting, HR, and executive leadership.

• Excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly and succinctly to a CFO or Board member.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Preferred qualifications include experience in a PE-backed setting, M&A, multi-entity and multi-currency reporting, and a demonstrated application of AI in finance workflows.
