Finance Training and Support Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and coordinate training initiatives and learning solutions primarily focused on Finance business processes.

• Create both written and verbal communication materials pertaining to Finance business operations.

• Address inquiries related to technical accounting and analytical expertise.

• Offer tools, resources, training, communication, and support to TNC finance personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Identify gaps in training and knowledge concerning Finance subjects.

• Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of a comprehensive training curriculum delivered through various methods.

• Evaluate factual data to enhance workflows and resolve issues.

• Ensure uniformity in organizational policies and procedures.

• Manage documentation and initiate complex processes.

• Act as a vital team member for enhancements to Finance systems and tools, including Workday.

• Lead various activities, assess alternatives, project outcomes, and implement effective solutions.

• Support strategic projects, process enhancements, organizational initiatives, and user adoption efforts.

• Develop curriculum and job aids, facilitate training sessions, provide service-oriented support, coordinate cross-functional teams, and foster partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, along with 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.

• Familiarity with accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

• Proven experience in leading and executing multiple projects.

• Proficiency with current technology relevant to the field.

• Experience collaborating with teams across the organization.

• Background, coursework, or training in current and evolving trends in training, curriculum design, distance learning, and web-based design.

• Multi-lingual skills and/or multi-cultural experience are valued.

• Strong demonstrated ability to conceive and write creatively for diverse audiences, coupled with excellent presentation skills.

• Solid finance background with an understanding of accounting concepts, the needs of Finance Representatives, and Workday finance processes.

• Experience in learning and development, supporting training delivery and user adoption.

• Proven ability to monitor compliance with organizational policies, applicable laws and regulations, and finance/accounting/management best practices.

• Familiarity with GAAP and/or relevant regulatory frameworks.

• Experience serving as a resource for others to solve problems.

• CPA or CIA certification may be preferred.

• The successful candidate must fulfill The Nature Conservancy's background screening requirements.
