This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the driver-based financial model and operational expenditure model in Pigment.

• Integrate contributions from commercial, product, and finance teams into a unified model of record.

• Oversee the complete annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes.

• Supervise headcount limits and general and administrative forecasting in collaboration with budget stakeholders.

• Establish a regular monthly reporting schedule for results and budget versus actuals analysis.

• Facilitate functional reviews and quarterly business evaluations.

• Compile the financial component of the board presentation pack.

• Implement capital allocation strategies for hiring, computing resources, and strategic expenditure decisions.

• Assess significant company investments.

• Potentially lead a central Financial Planning & Analysis team as it expands towards an IPO.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in constructing a driver-based financial model or long-term planning from the ground up and utilizing it to inform critical decisions.

• Demonstrated experience managing an annual budget and reforecasting cycle from start to finish in a rapidly growing tech environment.

• Skilled in translating financial data into a coherent narrative suitable for executives or board members.

• Strong commercial acumen with an emphasis on unit economics and gross profit margins.

• Practical experience with a financial planning tool such as Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, or a comparable system.

• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehouses.

• Regular use of AI tools.

• Bonus: familiarity with usage-based or consumption revenue models, IPO preparedness, or public company FP&A, hands-on experience with Pigment, or team building experience.

• Preference for candidates who can operate in GMT+0 to GMT+2 time zones.
